Explanation of ILLiad Request Statuses

Awaiting Additional Response
Interlibrary Loan staff is waiting for a reply from an outside source about the title you requested.

Awaiting ALA Request Processing
Interlibrary Loan staff are working to identify appropriate lending libraries for the item.

Awaiting Conditional Processing
Interlibrary Loan staff is responding to an inquiry from a potential lender and will contact you if there is a problem.

Awaiting Copyright Clearance
Any request for a photocopy must initially be reviewed for copyright compliance before it is sent to potential lending libraries.

Awaiting Customer Clearance

Your request was made on a new ILLiad account. Interlibrary Loan staff are checking your eligibility for ILL service and verifying your account information.

Awaiting Customer Contact
The requested item has been received and is being processed by the Interlibrary Loan staff. You will be notified as soon as the item is available.

Awaiting Denied Renewal Processing
FVRL's library-to-library renewal request has been denied by the lending library. Interlibrary Loan staff will contact you if the item needs to be returned before the stated due date.

Awaiting Direct Request Sending
ILLiad is checking to see if it can send your request out automatically because you made your request through WorldCat (well done!). Successful direct request sending typically decreases your wait-time for the item.

Awaiting Electronic Resources Searching
Interlibrary Loan Staff is checking for the photocopy you requested in FVRL's Electronic Resources collection and online.

Awaiting Extensive Searching
An initial search for the material you requested has been unsuccessful. Interlibrary Loan staff will continue the search with additional tools.

Awaiting Interlibrary Loan Searching
Interlibrary Loan staff will search for the item and send the request to potential lenders.

Awaiting Patron Response
Interlibrary Loan staff has contacted you by email, telephone, or post with a question and is awaiting your response. Please contact us with a reply at illiad@fvrl.org or 360-695-1566.

Awaiting Post Receipt Processing
The requested item has arrived, but is not yet ready for your use. You will receive a notice when the item is available.

Awaiting Recalled Processing
The item has been recalled by the lending library. Interlibrary Loan staff will contact you if the item needs to be returned before the due date on the item label.

Awaiting Renewal OK Processing
FVRL's library-to-library renewal request has been granted by the lending library. The extended due date for this item is viewable in your ILLiad account. You may also call 360-695-1566 or call or visit your Community Library to find out.

Awaiting Replacement Review
The item you requested was previously owned by FVRL. Collection Management staff will attempt to obtain another copy of the item for the FVRL collection. If it is purchased, you will be placed on the list to receive the new copy. If it is not purchased, Interlibrary Loan staff will attempt to borrow a copy from another library for you.

Awaiting Request Processing
The request will be searched by the Interlibrary Loan staff after the requests in line ahead of it have been searched.

Awaiting Return Label Printing
The item has been returned to the Interlibrary Loan office. It is currently awaiting final processing for return to the lending library.

Awaiting Selector Review
Your request is for an item published within the past two years. These are frequently purchased for the FVRL collection rather than borrowed from another library. If it is ordered for the collection you will be placed on the waiting list for it in the regular Library Catalog. You will be notified as soon as the purchase order has been placed. If it is not purchased, Interlibrary Loan staff will attempt to borrow a copy from another library for you.

Awaiting Unfilled Processing
None of the potential lenders contacted can fill the request. Interlibrary Loan staff will decide how to proceed and will contact you if necessary.

Awaiting User Verification
The information submitted in your ILLiad account application does not match your Library Card information. Please contact your Community Library or call 360-695-1566 to update your information.

Billed on SIRSI
This interlibrary loan item is more than 45 days overdue. Interlibrary Loan Staff have billed your library card account for the item. Your ILLiad and Library Card privileges will be blocked until the bill is resolved or the material is returned.

Cancelled by ILL Staff
Your ILLiad request has been cancelled by the Interlibrary Loan staff. You will be notified as to the reason for the cancellation and what further action, if any, needs to be taken.

Checked Out for Library Use Only
This item will be available for use at the library listed in the notice you receive. Because of restrictions on the item, it may not be taken out of the library branch. Please return the item to the service desk after using the item on a given day; it will remain available at the service desk until the item due date. If you would like to request a renewal on the item, please ask at the service desk.

Checked Out to Customer
The requested item has arrived and has been processed by the Interlibrary Loan staff. It has either been shipped to your address or you have picked it up at at the delivery branch. You are responsible for the item until it has been checked in at an FVRL branch.

Claims Not Received

You told library staff that you never received the requested item in the mail. Interlibrary Loan staff will wait at least 45 days past the due date to see if the item turns up before taking further action. Please return the item to the library immediately if you do receive it.

Claims Returned
You told library staff that you have returned this item to FVRL either at a branch library or through the mail. Interlibrary Loan staff will wait at least 45 days past the due date to see if the item turns up before taking further action. Please return the item to the library immediately if you discover it to be in your possession.

Customer Notified via E-Mail
The requested item has arrived at the branch and is available to be picked up. A notice will arrive by US Mail or email (if you gave us an email address).

Forwarded to New Book Selectors
Your request is for an item published within the past two years. These are frequently purchased for the FVRL collection rather than borrowed from another library. If it is ordered for the collection you will be placed on the waiting list for it in the regular Library Catalog. You will be notified as soon as the purchase order has been placed. If it is not purchased, Interlibrary Loan staff will attempt to borrow a copy from another library for you.

Forwarded to Replacement Selectors

The item you requested was previously owned by FVRL. Collection Management staff will attempt to obtain another copy of the item for the FVRL collection. If it is purchased, you will be placed on the waiting list in the regular Library Catalog. If it is not purchased, Interlibrary Loan staff will attempt to borrow a copy from another library for you.

Held Due to Blocked Record
The requested item has arrived and has been processed by the Interlibrary Loan staff. However, there is a problem with your regular Library account or your ILLiad account that prevents the Interlibrary Loan staff from making the item available to you (e.g., too many overdues, lost book charges in excess of $40.00, etc.). You will be notified as to the specific problem and what you need to do. The item will be held for 7 days before being returned to the lending library.

In Transit
The item has been checked in at the library branch where you returned it and is on its way back to the Interlibrary Loan office. You are no longer responsible for the item.

In Transit to Pickup Location
The requested item has been received and processed by the Interlibrary Loan staff and is now in transit to the branch for pickup. You will be notified as soon as the item is available.

Item Checked In
The item has been returned to the Interlibrary Loan office and has been checked in.

Item Returned
You cancelled your request for this item. Interlibrary Loan staff returned it to the lending library.

Loans Recalled from Patrons
Please return this item as soon as possible to any FVRL branch. The item has been recalled by the lending library and must be returned to them at once.

Material Returned by Patron Damaged
This item was returned to the library with significant damage not present when the item was checked out to you (damage prior to checkout is noted on the ILL label). The Interlibrary Loan staff will receive for an invoice for charges from the lending library. You may be billed for damage or replacement of the item.

Not Received
The item requested for you has not arrived from the lending library. Interlibrary Loan Staff will contact the lending library to correct this. You will be notified if there is a problem.

Received Partial/Incorrect Item
An item was received that either does not match the item that was requested or is incomplete. The Interlibrary Loan staff will determine the quickest means to correct this. You will be notified if there is a problem.

Request Finished
Interlibrary Loan staff borrowed this item from another library, you have had use of this item, and it has been returned to the library from which it was borrowed.

Renewed by Customer to (DATE)
You may continue to use this item until the extended date unless you are contacted by the Interlibrary Loan Staff to say otherwise.


Request in Processing
The request is being searched and potential lending libraries are being identified.

Request Sent
The request has been sent to potential lending libraries. The Interlibrary Loan staff is waiting for a response.

Submitted by Customer
Your request has been registered in the ILLiad system and will be processed by ILLiad and by Interlibrary Loan staff.
